A session about one person. Either a clean portrait — for a profile, a site, a résumé — or an author story built around you: light, texture, colour, idea.

Reportage, not staging. I shoot the day as it went: laughter at the prep, hands, glances, the father in tears. Posed frames happen too — beside the life, never instead of it.

At home, outdoors or in the studio. "Stand still and smile" does not work with kids, so I shoot the play: they stay busy, the frames stay alive.

How a shoot goes
- 01
You write to me
Through the form or a messenger. I answer within a day and tell you whether the date is free.
- 02
We design the shoot
I gather references and propose a location and looks. You say what works and what does not.
- 03
We shoot
I direct the whole session and show every pose. The first ten minutes are awkward for everyone — it passes.
- 04
You choose the frames
I send every keeper. You mark the ones that go into processing.
- 05
You get the results
Finished frames at full size plus social crops. Archive kept for a year.
Reviews
We dreaded posing and "smile at the camera". Emilia simply walked beside us all day, and we ended up with a frame of my mother crying — the best photo of the wedding.
I have hidden from cameras for twenty years. The first ten minutes were hard, then I forgot I was being photographed. Half the frames went onto my work profile.
With two children under three we were sure nothing would work. It did: the younger one ate biscuits for half the session, and those turned out to be the warmest frames.
A shooting day without a single hitch, files delivered ahead of schedule and already in the right crops. We are continuing.
