I shoot so that you recognise yourself — not a pose.
A session about one person. Either a clean portrait — for a profile, a site, a résumé — or an author story built around you: light, texture, colour, idea.
See the workReportage, not staging. I shoot the day as it went: laughter at the prep, hands, glances, the father in tears. Posed frames happen too — beside the life, never instead of it.
See the workAt home, outdoors or in the studio. "Stand still and smile" does not work with kids, so I shoot the play: they stay busy, the frames stay alive.
See the workBirthdays, corporate nights, graduations, openings. I work unnoticed: no queue forms at the photographer, the evening simply runs.
See the workWomen only, closed studio, no assistants. We agree the boundaries in writing beforehand: what we shoot, what we do not, what may be published. The default is nothing.
See the workA shooting day for a marketplace, social media or a campaign. I bring the light, shoot to your brief and deliver in the formats and crops you need.
See the workA comp card to agency spec: clean light, minimal retouching, honest proportions. Polaroids, front and profile portrait, full height.

Through the form or a messenger. I answer within a day and tell you whether the date is free.
I gather references and propose a location and looks. You say what works and what does not.
I direct the whole session and show every pose. The first ten minutes are awkward for everyone — it passes.
I send every keeper. You mark the ones that go into processing.
Finished frames at full size plus social crops. Archive kept for a year.
We dreaded posing and "smile at the camera". Emilia simply walked beside us all day, and we ended up with a frame of my mother crying — the best photo of the wedding.
I have hidden from cameras for twenty years. The first ten minutes were hard, then I forgot I was being photographed. Half the frames went onto my work profile.
With two children under three we were sure nothing would work. It did: the younger one ate biscuits for half the session, and those turned out to be the warmest frames.
A shooting day without a single hitch, files delivered ahead of schedule and already in the right crops. We are continuing.
